Hostel Suites Palermo

Friendly staff! Very helpful.

All the staffs are very frendly and helpful. After the long trip, Australia to Argentina (more than 14 hours Fly), was very good arrived there. The atmosphere of the Hostel Suites Palermo made me remember my home in Brazil. After live for one and half years in Australia, was very good felling like home again in Soulth America. And the staffs are already all the time to help with everything and tell about what have to do, turist places and parts to go.

It was a nice looking building...helpful staff, but very noisy at all times of the day particularly on Friday nights...like a discoteque...loud until about 3-4am...if you had windows open for fresh air the cleaners start early in the morning and make plenty of noise, smoke and bang things around. It was on the border of a safe and unsafe area...central to most things.

This place was terrible. Dirty (cochroaches); noisy - staff not travellers; no security/safe; the staff were very friendly and would say they would do something for you but never did, took 3 days to get a leaky toilet fixed and the leaky tap in the basin was never fixed! Was suppposed to have transfer from airport - not there and never found out why, was supposed to have early checkin - no idea put me into another room whilst mine was being cleaned thebn while I was out checked someone into that room with my luggage and personal items(passport, money etc.) still in the room. My room was located close to the kitchen so when staff started at 6am made a lot of noise and talked constantly. If I had not prepaid this accomodation I would have moved to another Hoste/hotel it was disgusting!!!

Staff here were hospitable and helpful. Place was clean enough and the location of the hostel is grand. It is located in a safe part of town with everything you may need very close by. I would say this is a comforable place to choose when in buenos aires.
